Simon Larkin — Founder
Who is LRKN Built.
Simon Larkin is the founding owner of LRKN Built., bringing over 27 years of experience across a range of sectors within the construction industry. His expertise encompasses aged care and child care facilities, office fitouts and refurbishments, commercial new builds, as well as industrial projects both large and small scale.
Simon has also overseen the construction of several petrol stations and food processing facilities, demonstrating a broad and versatile skill-set tailored to diverse client needs.
Simon started his apprenticeship with his Father's construction company at 19 years old. Four years later Simon was a Licenced Carpenter and pushing into the Project Management space. A couple of years later Simon moved into a Tier 1 Builder as a Foreman and stayed there 10 years, working his way to Site Manager and Project Manager. He then took an opportunity to work in different companies around the Fitout and Warehouse sectors. This is where Simon developed his admiration for these sectors. It was in 2026 when Simon decided it was time to open up LRKN Built. and be in a position to provide clients a new option in the market.
